Diane Williams

Diane set up Quince in 2010 after working at Marks & Spencer for more than 20 years, in a variety of store and head office roles. Wanting to combine her previous career experience with a love of museums, galleries and the creative arts, she decided to focus her new enterprise on the cultural, heritage and visitor attraction sectors. More than a decade later she and her associate Michael Richards have worked with over 70 different venues, as well as designing and delivering retail training initiatives for some of the UK’s leading cultural organisations and local authorities.

Michael Richards

Michael joined Quince in 2012 bringing with him extensive niche retail experience, having previously held managerial and operational positions at the Garden Museum, Imperial War Museum and Barbican Centre. His expertise in store layout, visual merchandising, range planning and product sourcing, has earned him many plaudits from past and present clients, and he’s equally at home working in a hands-on capacity, or as a coach and mentor. On a personal level his personal passion for retail innovation and interior design mean he’s never really off-duty.
